Good day all. I’m new to the world of sales - and boy do I love it😁
As a ‘junior’ sales rep, it not uncommon to ask a ‘senior’ sales rep to accompany you to a sales meeting if you feel you may need the back up. However, this particular ‘senior’ proceeded to dominant the enitire meeting!!! To make matters worse, he handed out his business card at the end, stating they can call him if I’m unavailable!!!
Thank the lord for masks…as my face spoke a thousand words of irritated.
Is this common practice? And how do I approach a similar situation if it happens again?
