Hey @Steve_SD! I think having a compensation for your extra work is awesome and it definitely makes employees work harder. Neverthelless, sometimes it’s hard to give a special compensation when it isn’t part of the company’s culture. There are companies that will pay you a basic salary but allow you to get paid a lot more depending on your achievements, and others will just pay you a fixed amount of money no matter how well you perform. If you are in this second type of companies, you will need to change your mindset and adapt to them, embracing also the possitive aspects of this, like the security of a stable higher salary. But, if your motivation is only driven by compensations you should try to work on companies with a merit compensation system.
